  • Mi Casita has good corn tamales, and has conchas and bolillos
  • This is the ONE where you’ll find everything: Mega Mart Latino Supermarket, 1101 University Blvd E, Takoma Park, MD

Places to dance cumbia

  • Cafe Citron (get there early, gets crowded late at night)
  • Wherever DJs Leon/Claudia City Sounds spin music at. Usually at Greenzone
  • Check out local cumbia bands: Bongo District (reggae cumbia), Cumbia Heights
